Hope everyone had very merry holidays with too much to eat and lots of love & laughs! We had Christmas morning here. Ash had to work and was going to stay home so the boys would be up early so OF COURSE they chose to sleep until 8am. Except Waylon. we finally let him go wake up Zane so Ash could get to work! They were for the most part satisfied and happy with their gifts even if Waylon thought there should be more for later that day. Poor deprived greedy child, whose mother has decided that this may be the last Christmas for presents in our house as they already have EVERYTHING! And I was at a complete loss of what to buy Trey since he just had a birthday and the other boys already got everything. I should have taken the advice of a friend and just wrapped something we already had to save the "stuff" and $$. O well. We had Christmas dinner at Danny & Cathy's and ate too much and even got CRANBERRY pudding for dessert. MY FAVORITE! And I dont even know how to make it=) We skated Christmas eve and last night, the 28th and may go again on the 31st although Id prefer to watch the bull bustin' with Zane, but we will see. I will be cooking on New Years it seems. Which is fine. I like to cook. I just hate cleaning!! Speaking of which, this house has been gone thru twice in the last week in a panic search! We lost a set of toy kitchen tongs for the "Cadillac Kitchen" from the toy library and I am completely baffled! Trey has a tendency to throw the odd thing in the garbage as he walks by but Im pretty sure I was watching that night! Hopefully it turns up soon, before the gray hair becomes visible!

This is the present we let the boys open Christmas Eve, A gum Tree from Aunty Becky & Uncle Shane, of course they were super delighted. Zane and Trey however, think gum is the new candy and keep swallowing it! There has to be at least 35 packs of gum on that thing!

Zane window markers! Or as Ash says, a present from only someone who really likes to wash the windows!! Needless to say they've been washed more in the last 4 days then in the last 2 years!! Maybe the boys will be really good at it by the time the crayons are done!

well. its been months since I actually updated this but... the last one was supposed to have a video of Trey talking and it didnt work and now he forgot how to say his word!!
we just spent the weekend at Mom & Dad Wimmer's with an early Christmas dinner and it was really fun. The boys are pro Crokinole players and Electric hockey. I gave Uncle Ryan the game called "FART" and Im sure with a little more practise, we'd actually be really good at the game!! Or he would for sure!!
But I cant put any pictures on right now cause we're driving home but i promise when I get home from Hockey tonite!
And this weekend was full of "dates-To-Remember"

The guilt was really getting to me so I quickly decorated "Diego" in black & white to take to hockey last night! Smart move on my part as it ALL got ate and I dont have any of my favorite cake sitting in the fridge waiting to get ate!! And of course it looks like scribbles but did anyone care?? NOPE!! Tasted just as good!

This is Mr Cheesey himself!! I came upstairs today to find him busy with the duster!! Smart kid! When I got the camera tho, he decided to "cheese" for me! What a turkey.He did actually dust the floor with that thing! He knows how to use it, now just to teach him WHERE to use it=)

the birthday has brought with it an exertion of personality!! Trey has decided NOT to be the pushover brother and can give as good as he gets! He FREAKS on Zane for stealing his things and generally lets his opinion be known. LOUDLY! But he's still so cute. He gives the sweetest kisses and he smiles at the right moments AND he loves his dad! Goes to him the minute he gets in the door!

Last night we took the boys skating=0) YAY. the ice is in! Trey was sorta content to ride in the sled until the other kids wanted a turn to pull him. NOT IMPRESSED! he bawled and howled until the second I took the rope back. THEN he was just fine! And once I skated around the net and Ash said something to the other boys and Trey heard him, WELL. That was the end of his contentment because DADDy was in the building and not touching him! IMAGINE!

We decided to wean him this week too. He is recovering just fine. The first couple nights were rough and I gave in twice. And now its just me that has a problem and I almost gave in and fed him again. Then I read that actually mood swings, irritability and post-nursing depression is very common! WOW! I told Ash my findings and he was like, "No KIDDING! I wondered what your problem was!" Now that did wonders for my "irritability"!!!!!!!! But we will survive and maybe even take a holiday with NO kiddies someday!!

WOWZERS, That year went by very fast!!

i tried to take fall pics of the boys but you know how it is! so we went to Walmart before they jacked up the Christmas prices=) Hee hee! See? What a cute Happy Bunch eh?
I cannot believe Trey is already 1. Sob, sob, sob! I LOVE babies. Wish they stayed that way longer!! Altho he is getting a little personality now and into everything. He's also turning into the SPOILT youngest child! Starting with the BIGGEST attachment to his mother. I am having the worst time trying to wean him and I know its mostly my fault cause I dont want him to grow up but still. Everytime he's bored he climbs up on my knee and lays himself across my lap! Wonder what he wants!! He also decided, yesterday, that maybe he would drink out of a bottle! First time in his life he drinks a bottle of milk on his birthday, and then he had to fight Zane for it, who was SOOOOOO thirsty! Imagine being 3 and having to "try out" the bottle! What a turkey!

we were gonna make stuffed pumpkins for Trey's birthday supper but ended up being too sick so we gave the pigs extra goodies and saved the pumpkin meat to make pies!!THIS is WHY this mother has NEVER bought my kids a cake before!! What a RIP OFF! Poor Trey, I did make him a cake but was too sick to decorate it and felt TERRIBLE that he didnt have a cake on his birthday so I bought one!He really loved the package! The cake wasnt too bad after he got right into it! And speaking of Zane, I took him to the dentist this week! I seen a little black hole in a tooth and figured I better get it looked at before it was Waylon size! Yeah, well... he needs 9 teeth fixed! Not sure what all the jargon means but for me it looks like $$$$$! The dentist here decided to send him to Lethbridge for sedation rather than even ATTEMPT to fix that. So... he we go again! Waylon needed similar work done last year but he actually had to have 2 pulled, 2 capped and 4 other things! I took Waylon in too, just in cause he needed something and I ddint want to have to go twice and YUP! sure enuf, he needs 3 fixed! One is a filling that may have broke from last year but 2 new ones too. Good grief, you'd think Id learn and make them brush, floss, rinse, whatever every time they eat!!

We had a rather uneventful Oct after Alyson & family went home. As far as I can remember anyway!! Ash went Elk hunting but didnt even see anything! Loggers chased the animals out so they came home early. While he was gone there was a mouse in the roof! So of course I panic! Woke up Waylon cause he was sleeping beside me and then we had to muster some bravery to put out some traps and call Danny the next morning to check for us! Sadly we didnt catch it on our traps but it did get stuck on one Ash had left up there, which I had no idea where it was! Until the next night, I put the kids to bed and heard this awful squeaking! Horrid noise but I could pinpoint EXACTLY where the little freak was! And sure enuf! DiiiiiiSGusting! Oh, and before that even, I think the day we got home from Osoyoos there was a BAT in here! I pushed the chair in the middle of the night after checking on Zane and the chair pinned it to the floor! EEEEEK! Good thing Ash was home! Apparently the month was eventful!! Good thing memories are short=)

Halloween, Trey got sick but he was so sad when the boys got dressed that we dressed him up and took him out too! I dont think he really cared! And ever since then we've all been sick, sick, sick. Not sure if this is H1N1 or not but we've got the lung cough and fevers, aches and exhaustion! Except Zane, when he gets fevered he gets jittery and talks NON STOP!
We took the kids to Build a Bear to get new stuffies for cuddling when sick! What a money pit! But then so is Wholesale Sports with their Daddy-O!! Guns, guns, & more guns. Ive been told Im owed a major shopping spree but ive also decided I dont even know HOW to shop anymore! And furthermore, I dont LIKE shopping unless its all by myself!!!
