Birthday, Thanksgiving and Halloween!

Dalys had a strawberry shortcake birthday party! She is no longer a baby, but a VERY BUSY little girl=) She never sits still, can keep up with the boys and has a very sweet, if spoilt, little personality! She refuses to drink milk, so exists on yogurt and cheese! She's way tinier than any of the boys were at this age, she was only 19.4lbs at her 1yr shots! So a little fat wont hurt her by any means! She likes to pinch and then giggle! And she really does like her brothers! Waylon was pretty sure she even said his name yesterday! She's not talking much but says "dada and mama" and can screech to no end! Candy corner with all pink/red/green candies=)
She wouldnt eat any cake and wouldnt get her fingers dirty either! Yes thats a carrot in her hand, she likes "girl-food"!

Thanksgiving weekend, we went to Rocanville for Grampa Freddie's 90th birthday. This is the closest we got as a family pic, even tho we were all there! All the kids and grandkids, just NO SPOUSES! Not very organized I guess=)

Thrashing is an annual event there! We got in on last years too!

Jumping in the straw pile!

Sitting up high on the bails!

Now this is REDNECK!!

Haul out 5-10 shotguns at the family dinner!!

I dont know how to shoot skeet or I may have joined them=)

We spent our last night at Auntie Alyson, Uncle Jarvis, Daudi and Adair's cute new house! Trey and Adair had a bonding moment over chips and secret giggles!

Little Butterfly started in on the suckers before we even left our house to trick or treat!

This was crazy hair day at Zane's school, but both the other boys had to have a little in their hair too! And Waylon claimed Zane had so much that he stunk like paint, hence the nose covering!

Pumpkin Carving! Dalys "tested" the seeds and guts while we carved=)

A Halo dude (whom we just thought was a soldier, until the kids at school filled us in=)), and Bumblebee the transformer. Trey was a cowboy, cause he doesnt like to stretch his imagination too far!

Pretty sure he wont forget what Halloween is all about next year! This was his share on by Friday, 3 days, it was GONE! I think the other boys "helped" him eat it so they wouldnt have to eat theirs, but yep, he pretty much at nothing but candy for 3 days! And next week he turns 3!!

Its been a long time, but here we are again!

Wow, summer is already over! Hard to believe its been 3 months since I posted anything, but with the boys home all summer, we were just hoppin' busy and no time for anything else! (except Facebook, according to Waylon, thats all I ever do!) Oh yes, and the boys told someone else that my "work" is on the internet! Man oh man, the things they come up with!

I cant get blogger to put this in the right place, but this was the pretty rowboat pond at the Enchanted Forest!Anyway, on with the story of summer... Waylon finished Grade 1, and we spent the 1st official week of summer holidays camping with Sean and Lynette! Trey and Colt had a fine time fighting, Dalys started walking, (at 9.5 months) and Waylon and Zane just acted like themselves and fought and played and fought some more! This is Dalys with Coy, who is 3months younger and probly 10lbs heavier than her, but she thinks he`s a baby! Shopping brought them all new track suits, they were so excited!

After conv, we went to BC for Great Gramma Zena`s 80th bday. We stopped in Revelstoke at the Enchanted Forest on the way. WHAT A COOL PLACE! We all loved it and expect to back.

The 3 Little Pigs` Houses

This was in the `Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe` house

This was our laugh of the trip, driving thru Kelowna, Ash points out the bus, Waylon looks at it for a while and finally comes out with :`That is ONE NICE muffler!` (Notice the muffler on the roof)=)

While at Gramma and Grampa Wimmer`s for a weekend, we made a quick trip to West Ed=)

Dalys at 11 months and her hair has gotten very long on top and very blonde this summer.

This is my FAV picture right now! They were walking so cute and then just as I snapped it she stopped to``talk`` to him! I LOVE IT, couldnt have planned it if I tried=)

Waylon in Grade 2 in Ms Dawson`s class at Griffin Park School

Definitely a boy... Zane wanted his pic by the Camaro on the way into his school!!

Zane in Kindergarten in Mrs Potts`class in Central Elementary School

Dalys spent the morning of Zane`s 1st day of school, fast asleep=)

Trey quietly played trucks all by himself! Until lunch and now he is making trouble! I love how they all just feel that whoever is the oldest has the `JOB`of keeping the trouble alive and well!!

Mom didnt cry today at school with Zane, but I did have a few tears when I drove by his school yesterday! So glad we made it thru and now he is a school kid. Should be an interesting, busy year. Zane also started piano lessons this year, and Waylon is in his 3rd year. So far, I`ve had to fight with Waylon to go to both lessons! The boys are also in powerskating twice a week for the month of September, so our evenings are busy every day except Friday!! EEEK, life is a rush! Hope you all had a great summer!

May Events

Two goofs with their McDonald box hats!

I'm pretty sure this was a rainy day cause they were acting very strange! But they were having fun and sometimes all you can do is get the camera! Pretty dress!

Zane was being the good big brother and entertaining her for me!
This was "after pigtails hair" and when she was just really getting going with the crawling! (Now she stands by herself sometimes)

Apparently the paper wasnt too tasty=)

Just watching the big boys, they are definitely her heros!

Took the kids to Ash's work one sunny day so they could ride their dirtbike and quad. They had a great time! Need some practise but its good to get out on different surfaces than the grass.

This is Waylon on his dirtbike!!

Zane on his quad! (just a side-note for parents of boys: we bought these bikes brand-new off EBAY for under $500each! They work PERFECT for this stage. You do not need to spend fortunes in order to have a toy with a motor!!Trey rode in the middle of the Rhino with us and had a wonderful sleep! Ash didnt even question WHY his leg was so warm until we stopped=) (just a little pee!)

Zane became a "batman" for a day at the tradeshow!

Playing with Tori, our neighbor!

Dalys' first OREO cookie! I think she really liked it=)

Zane's Mother's Day presentation! He made me a jar of bath salts! Someday, I hope to use them in my spare time=) This is Dalys' new CAGE! I have never had the need for a playpen before now. However, she is just so busy and I can hardly go outside unless she's caged and not eating everything on the ground!

Waylon picked me some crocus' on Mother's Day. The kids and I on Mother's Day at Dinosaur Park. We had a picnic in the back of the suburban because it was cold and rainy and then went for a walk in the badlands! Ash was seeding in Sk so thats partly why it looks like I may have forgot to look in the mirror that day!

We had a soccer game and BBQ, and it just happened to be Lynette's birthday as well!

Welcome to Brooks! and Happy 30th Lynette!

I really have to find the pics of the other kids in this outfit, but I took the picture of Dalys in it just in case I ever do find the other 3!

One day Ash decided to buy some parts for his jeep! Lo-and-behold, if he didnt find a WHOLE jeep with all the parts he wanted for a better deal! The kids think this is their new playhouse! Zane and Trey playing in the jeeps for 2 days in a row, starting in the pjs both days and going until BEDTIME! And then Ash went to Sk and spoiled their fun! You may not notice but Trey was having a bit of trouble getting in and out. Zane would help him nicely but then they came up with a great solution: THE TRIKE thingy that is by the door in the above pic! And by Zane below! A few times I nearly had a heart attack as I peek out to see Trey standing on the steering wheel, and swinging from the roll bars!

Perfectly safe little boys, I know!

This was the day Dalys turned 8 months old! And she was having such fun driving the jeep too!

Zane's 2nd last preschool day was cowboy day. The teacher had lined up some bale horses and saddles from he son in law but he got flooded so was too busy. Just so happens I could help her out! Waylon was off school so he helped me come home and get the stuff and then take it back to school to let the kids all ride. They had so much fun!

Driving the tractor with Daddy!

Seeding=)Sick of the tractor!!

We got to see the RCMP musical ride in Kindersley! It was wonderful. The last time I seen it Zane was 3 months old. They do such a great job. The kids LOVED it. We were there for the warmup so the riders all waved at the kids!

One tired baby! I've been finding her like this a few times now! Seems she maybe gets a tiny bit neglected and has to fall asleep wherever she lands! Sorry baby!

Zane is officially "graduated" from Preschool and will be in Mrs. Potts' Kindergarten class next year! He is very excited and thinks he will just be so smart! Have to admit, it makes me sad! Although I am ready for him to go, most days, I am sad that he is growing up so fast! And when that day comes that we are "empty nesters", this is gonna be one SAD MOM! I HATE that one day they will all be gone! Guess thats why you need a life of your own, so someday I will pursue that too, but I am still sad that kids grow up so fast.
