The MONTH of January!!

Waylon going up the rope all by himself!
Zane skiing down all by himself! I love the hand positions!
Took a lot of concentration but it was only the 2nd or 3rd time down!

All by himself!

Watching the medicopter!

Helping him on the steeper bunny hill! Didnt want him to take off into the unknown!

Someone tried to dress himself!

Yes, those are underwear on his head! Luckily they were out of the CLEAN laundry!

The Olympic relay activities in Brooks. They had quite a production and TOO many people!
Including those that are SOOOO considerate enough to stand 3 deep in front of the stroller!

The torch pass.
Think they're tired? This was on the way to Monday night hockey!

Still making his CHEESEY grin!

WOW another month has come and gone and Ive been too "busy" (lazy) to update my blog. Sorry to anyone who cares!! Ive hardly taken any pics this month either but it seems we've just been trying to keep warm and get thru another month of winter! Which is getting really OLD! Wish we lived in Qatar where its nice enuf to play outside!
We finished off the '09 year with EXCITEMENT!! We ran out of propane on the 30th. At 10pm! Lucky for us the guy that hauls it for us responded rather nicely to my panic attack and brought us some the next morning, we survived the night with the BBQ tank! We had never run out in the 5 1/2 yrs we've lived here before! there's a first time for everything tho! We also ran out of water that weekend too! After New Years of course! We have done that before, but gives a greater appreciation for those who live in areas that have wells and gas lines! Although we could get gas, it just costs A LOT to have installed!

We took Waylon & Zane skiing by Med Hat on the 2nd. They lOVED it! We've never been skiing together, Ash & I, and had never been to the Elkwater hill but it was fantastic. We can hardly wait to go again, with no kids this time to get off the bunny hill=) Mom & Dad so kindly came down for the day to watch Trey and he was happy to catch up on his sleep and missed Waylon more than he missed ME! We watched a guy get airlifted off the hill. Not sure what he did but it

musta hurt.

I think I remember it warming up for a bit in Jan. And Ash brought out the quads and the boys have been ripping up the yard for a few weeks now. We decided maybe we're quadders more than horse people, as all our horses do is eat and poop and no one looks at them at this point!! So if anyone would like a hay-burner, let us know!!

Waylon has decided he likes school now and cant wait for Grade 1. He has officially reached the point of needing school 5 days a week!
Zane is SLOWLY learning to get over his spazzzzing. We havent seen any major, uncontrollable ones for a bit. Trey, however, has taken over! He likes to hit with hockey sticks and then "pretends" to cry when he gets in trouble. But if you're seriously taking something away for good, LOOK OUT! He can kick and scream and arch like a champ! Doesnt take long for the tempers to develop!
Trey has also learned to blow his own nose and does not too bad but usually misses in the wiping department. the nice part is, one meeting all it took was a Kleenex for an entertained boy for 10 min=)

Ive decided to recover some smaller sized rockers for our living room and have chosen CAMOFLAUGE material, with the booger scene in mind! So just a warning if you ever sit on our furniture!!!! HAHAHA! Im sorta kidding! I do try to clean once in while=)

We've also hopefully decided to carry on with our renos and remove some more walls! Yippee! Cant wait for that work to start!
Yesterday, I took the time to get myself a scalp massage! It was absolutely HEAVENLY! I highly recommend all mothers under any stress treat yourselves.

We have a busy Feb to look forward too! A visit to Rocanville to see Daudi & Adair, and the rest of ALL our relatives that are also decending on the town=) Should be a merry busy time!! Its also our 9th Anniversary month, Ash & Waylon's birthdays, a week off school for Waylon and numerous other activities!! Hopefully I will remember to update this again before long!

Keep Warm Everyone!

Umm, yea, booger camoflauge...sounds GREAT! Don't you have leather couches? They aren't hard to clean, and maybe you should get your kids to carry hankies :0) LOL! :0) Your posts always make me laugh. See you soon.
