A Fun-Filled February

So... hard to believe its almost MARCH! Nice tho, cant wait to get out of freezing weather! Seems like I have hardly been outside since Sept. Everytime Dalys gets a bit of wind on her she gets sick, so its just been a whole lot easier to stay inside. We have had our share of colds this year too. Me not so much but the kiddies have been snottin' and coughin' everywhere! Trey had a bout of croup (self-diagnosed) but he coughed until he couldn't catch his breath. And then puked a couple times because of it. Such FUN FUN times. Did I mention that was while Ash was gone to Salt Lake City too? He bought a ski-doo down there and we hoped to get a little shopping trip in while we went to get it, as a 10th anniversary present! But unbeknownst to HIM, I let our passports expire last Aug!!! So we had to renew those and apply for one for Dalys too. Ours came back together, hers a week too late. He and Danny went by themselves one Sat afternoon and were back in time for work at 7am Mon morning!!! I didnt get to shop=( Oh well. Nothing fits anyway! Today our kids have been fighting since 8am! The week off school is killing me! NO ONE can get along and if they aren't fighting they're playing mini stix which drives ME insane! This too shall pass!

I had to share this horrible pic from the paper! This fish was caught in Lake Newell, and if you enlarge the pic you will see that is was 2nd place! NOT 1st! That means there are some BIGGER than that! If one of these suckers came near me while swimming I think Id pass out and DROWN, and then probly get ate by one! Seriously, I always thought itd be cool to swim with the dolphins but I dont think PIKE are anything near as cute as dolphins! SCARY! Look how cute these kids can be when they want to be! And please excuse the shaggy hair on Waylon and Zane! I AM going to win that fight one of these days!

Dalys is 5mos old already.
Sniff, sniff! I am getting passed the baby stage but I will still miss the tiny little miracles and milestones!

And my BIG baby is now 7! Its not the years, its the size and brains and personality and all the major developments he's accomplished! Can hardly believe that all that he is has only taken 7 years to get there! How smart and HUGE and opinionated he's going to be in another 7 years!

We went swimming for Waylon's party. Isnt she cute in her bikini?? I almost forgot to take a picture! And I was so proud of Ash for getting her dressed all by himself! (He only bonked her head on the lockers once!)

The Mario cake! He had Mario last year too so we had to develop something new. VERY AMATEUR, but he's not fussy!

His presents included dirtbike gear and cowboy chaps! Who knew you could wear them all together=)

The day of his birthday he decided since he was now 7 he would share lots with his little brothers! The day after, he said it was not his birthday and he was 7 so he would not be sharing ever again!!!

Feb 10, 2011 10 yrs, 4 kids, 30 lbs later

I am still young, we are still happy and in love, although BORING!

On our anniversary, we almost didnt go out for supper even, because Waylon had piano lessons! I cancelled at the last minute and we did go out. It was a nearly exact repeat of our 8yr anniversary as Alyson reminded me! Dining on a gift card from work. Would never go to BP's otherwise. They are totally overrated but the only thing available in Brooks. Cost $52! No wonder we are stuck with McD's most of the time! Sheesh! We sorrta skipped Valentines this year. Ash was sleeping most of the day! Got home from Utah that morning! But I BBQ steak for supper and was DEEEE-LISH! 4000x better than BP's so I think I'll just cook my own supper from now on!

(psst: gotta run. Ash just took the boys for a drive to the dead-coyote dropoff place! I get 2 hrs of peace and I think i'll play MARIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!=)=)
